James Stevenson received his BScH in Biochemistry & Biochemistry from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2017, where he developed an interest in protein crystallography and structural biology. James is currently a Masters candidate in the Lab of Dr. Michael Suits at WLU, where he studies the structure and function of CAZymes in B. thetaiotaomicron responsible for nutrient accession of galactose-containing polysaccharides, as well as the structure of virulence-associated proteins in the Gram-negative pathogen P. gingivalis.
