Please take a moment to read CAZypedia's copyright statement.
Individual articles (pages) in CAZypedia can be cited, much as one would cite a journal article or, perhaps more analogously, a book chapter. In the "toolbox" section of all encyclopedic pages, you will find a link entitled Cite this page, which will give you the full bibliographic information for that page.
- If you would like to include a reference to a CAZypedia page in a published work, please use something like the following format:
Page Author(s) "Page Title" in CAZypedia, available at URL http://www.cazypedia.org/, accessed date.
- For example, a reference to the Glycoside Hydrolase Family 8 page might look like this:
Kitaoka, M. and Fushinobu, S. "Glycoside Hydrolase Family 8" in CAZypedia, available at URL http://www.cazypedia.org/, accessed 11 August 2009.
- The format should of course be altered to fit the style of the work in which you'd like to cite a CAZypedia article, but please make sure to include the following as a minimum:
- Page Author(s)
- Page Title
- Reference to CAZypedia
- The CAZypedia URL (http://www.cazypedia.org/)
- The date you accessed the work.
- If the publication in which you reference CAZypedia specifically requires that an editor be given, please use the Responsible Curator for the page.
