After completing graduate studies at the University of Waterloo in the Department of Biology, Darryl joined the group of Dr. Wade Abbott at the Agriculture and Agri-Food CanadaLethbridge Research and Development Centre. As a member of Dr. Abbott's research team Darryl has been engaged in the identification and characterization of CAZymes from the intestinal microbiome, and the development of technologies involving carbohydrate modification for agricultural and intestinal health applications.
