Charlie Corulli is a PhD student at the University of Georgia in the Complex Carbohydrate Research Center (CCRC) in Dr. Urbanowicz’s research group. His research is focused on the biochemical characterization of proteins involved in the biosynthesis and modification of the plant cell wall. More specifically, his work is centered around understanding glycosyltransferases (GTs) in the GT47 family. Charlie received his Bachelor of Science in biochemistry at Georgia Southern University in 2022.
