Manjeet Kaur obtained her B.Sc and M.Sc. in Botany from University of Delhi and completed her Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Appa Rao Podile at Department of Plant Sciences, University of Hyderabad. She obtained fellowship from Council of Scientific and Industrial research (CSIR) for pursuing Ph.D. Her work focused on auxiliary roles of bacterial carbohydrate binding modules (CBMs) and lytic polysaccharide mono-oxygenases (LPMOs) and their synergistic effect with bacterial chitinases [ref].
