Manjeet Kaur obtained her B.Sc and M.Sc. in Botany from University of Delhi [1] and completed her Ph.D. under the supervision of ^^^Appa Rao Podile^^^ [2] at Department of Plant Sciences, University of Hyderabad. She obtained fellowship from Council of Scientific and Industrial research (CSIR) for pursuing Ph.D. She also obtained DFG- fellowship for research stay in Westfalische Willhelms-Universitat Muenster, Germany where she worked with Prof. Bruno M Moerschbacher [3] in Institute for Biology and Biotechnology. Her work focused on auxiliary roles of bacterial carbohydrate binding modules (CBMs) and lytic polysaccharide mono-oxygenases (LPMOs) and their synergistic effect with bacterial chitinases [1, 2, 3]. She is presently working as Assistant Professor-Guest in University of Delhi, since 2018.
