Glycoside Hydrolase Family 60

GH60 is a deleted family
Subsequent to family creation, it was shown that the actual activity was not glycosidic bond hydrolysis, as initially claimed.
Detailed sequence analyses show that the sequences in fact belong to metallopeptidase family M42. Evidence for peptidase activity experimentally was demonstrated by Cottrell et al. <cite Cottrell2005.
