The function of the editorial board is to moderate the content of CAZypedia. Specifically, the Editorial Board is responsible for:
- final editorial control
- finding new authors
- manage copyright issues, including granting permission to use material from CAZypedia
- arbitrate disputes over content
- oversee the inclusion of new topics into CAZypedia
